Santuario de Chimayo

2006 - Taken when with a tour group, this image inspired me with the fantastic colors of the alter.  This sanctuary is the same that has the sacred sand pit and the prayer room with abandoned crutches and braces left by children and adults after being healed by the sand.  A very inspiring and moving scene.  Do visit if you get the chance--located in Chimayo, New Mexico.  More Information.
