2007 - This image was taken after Dia de los Muertos festivities in the Terlingua, Texas Ghost town sanctuary and exposed around the same time as Terlingua Passion. It was inspired by the setting and the feeling of the energy left after the services.  The worshipping and prayers to those that have passed, the candles on the graves and festivities in the grave yard, the alter candles left burning low in the sanctuary all contributed to the atmosphere.  Definitely an environment to experience given the chance.
