Galisteo Sunset

2006 - I was with a group of people from the area around Galisteo, New Mexico, when I captured this image.  They had never seen the light or sunset so other-wordly.  Its as if the sunlight is shining down on the top of the cloud while still shining on the falling rain in the back left of the image.  I only had a few minutes to capture this before the lightning and darkness arrived.  Unfortunately the group was hungry and didn't want to stay for a few lightning shots.  A fantastic missed opportunity.  Taken near Galisteo, New Mexico.
