2004 - Towards the end of my Fall trip, I was heading out of the Big Bend area after a few days chasing some georgeous sunsets.  I almost drove by this image, but I had been looking for a tree with big, flowing branches. I stopped and was shooting away when a cloud came over the scene putting the foreground in shadow and keeping the horizon lit.  I only had a few minutes to locate the perfect composition and shoot before I'd lose my "perfect" shadow.  Taken South of Fort Stockton, Texas.
