2004 - I had taken a trip to New Mexico in the Fall of 2004  It had been bright and sunny with the temperatures in the 80s and 90s. This image should convey cold and frigid weather--because it was! A freak snowstorm had blown into central New Mexico near Socorro.  The residents had never experienced this amount of snow so early(November) in the year. But it made a great mood for this image.  It is the second of three shots I took before the birds flew by.  I really like this image because the wings of all three birds are out of sync, as well as the snow falling on the mountains in the background.  Taken in Bosque del Apache.
