2008 - Traveling through Colorado, nearing Ft Collins, I kept seeing variations of these clouds with beautiful grassland compositions.  I finally stopped when I thought I'd chosen the perfect scene with a great set of clouds to work with--and then the rain appeared on the horizon.  Timing was perfect.  I was able to make a few shots before the scene changed enough that it just didn't have the same character--the dark clouds with the brightly sunlit cotton-candy clouds.  All passed.  Taken near Ft. Collins Colorado.
